For food truck owners

You own the truck. Now fix the chaos around it.

The line at the window is ten deep, the kitchen is yelling for tickets, and the recipes live in three notebooks. Holler is the point of sale built for the truck. ChefVault keeps every recipe in one place.

  • iPhone at the window
  • iPad in the kitchen
  • Cash & pay-later
  • No ads, no tracking

The problem

You own a food truck. You still need three more things.

Cooking is the easy part. Everything around it is what eats your day.

1

A POS that keeps up with the window

Take orders fast at the window, get them to the kitchen without shouting, and know what you sold when the night is over.

2

A way to tell people where you are right now

Your regulars want to know where the truck is parked today and when the window opens.

3

One place for all your recipes

Recipes scattered across notebooks, phone notes and someone's memory are hard to scale and harder to hand off.

The fix

Holler runs the truck. ChefVault keeps the recipes.

Two apps from the same maker, each built to do one job well.

Holler POS

The point of sale for food trucks
  • iPhone at the order window. Tap menu items, add an optional customer name and phone, done.
  • iPad in the kitchen. Orders show up as tickets on the kitchen display.
  • Cash and pay-later today. Card payments aren't in version 1.0.
  • Sales records for every order, so you know how the night went.
  • Menu items, staff accounts and a customer list for each truck.

ChefVault

The recipe vault, from chefvault.app
  • Cups and grams on every ingredient. Toggle the whole recipe with a tap.
  • Scale any recipe without doing the math.
  • Cook Mode: a full-screen, step-by-step kitchen view that keeps the screen awake.
  • Import recipes from a web link, a Paprika export, or a photo or screenshot.
  • Meal plans, shopping lists and certification reminders.

Better together: ChefVault can prepare chef-side handoff packages for Holler, so the kitchen side and the window side stay in step.

Inside Holler

Everything the window and the kitchen need. Nothing they don't.

Order taking at the window

Build an order on iPhone in a few taps. Customer name and phone are optional.

Kitchen display on iPad

Orders land in the kitchen as tickets, so the cook isn't guessing what was said at the window.

Menu management

Set up your menu items once and they're ready at the window.

Sales tracking

Holler keeps sales records for your truck, including cash-drawer records.

Cash & pay-later

Record cash and pay-later orders today. Card payments aren't part of Holler 1.0.

Staff accounts

Owners and staff each sign in with their own email and password.

Your own customer list

Each truck keeps its own customer list. It belongs to your business.

Private by design

No ads. No tracking. Your data isn't sold. Delete your account any time from inside the app.

Window to kitchen

The order you take is the ticket they cook.

Take the order on iPhone at the window. It shows up on the iPad in the kitchen. No paper slips blowing off the counter, no shouting over the fryer.

How it works

Up and running in three steps

  1. Set up your truck

Sign in with your email and password, add your menu items, and create accounts for your staff.

  2. Take orders at the window

Tap in the order on iPhone, add a name or phone if you like, and mark it cash or pay later.

  3. Cook from the iPad

The kitchen sees each order on the iPad. Holler keeps the sales records while you cook.
